Visual artist and painter founded Dutch Art Tours in 2011.
Monica was born in Amsterdam. She then traveled extensively with her parents, spending many years in California. She returned to Amsterdam in 1977 where she studied Philosophy, Astrology and Painting in the Van Gogh Museum. Her work is exhibited regularly in Holland and abroad and can be found in private and public collections. Besides painting she makes unique wall elements with hidden compartments which you will see on the tour. Monica is your bi-lingual guide, dividing her time between painting, and showing her work in galleries, at art fairs and in her own showroom. She currently lives and works with her partner on the historical Zamenhofstraat waterfront on the northern shores of the waterway 'Het IJ'.
